Here are some of the new fabrics from "Shabby Chic" that co-ordinate with the linens that arrived a few weeks back
Just a sneak preview of SPRING!
And now, back to Christmas!  Tomorrow is the first day of Folktales Christmas Open House, and here are a few pictures of some of the new samples...
Buttermilk Basin's December sheep Blanket...and their table mats for December and January...
Mary King made the blankets for the sheep.  Nice work, Mary!
The Santa head Ornies Pattern will be given to everyone attending the Open House.
 A new stitchery...
from "Christmas in the Coop"
... a new snowman
from Country Friends
A dishtowel from the new book
  "Christmas in the Coop"
A doorknob hanger from Lynda Hall's new book "Deck the Halls"

Reminds me of a very special weekend in Paris...

This is a "no sew" star garland from Sandy Gervais.

And this is "Slim, the Snowman"  from the Winter issue of the magazine, " Primitive Quilts and Projects".  The complete kit is $25.00.
This table runner is adapted from Blackberry Roads "Snowflake" pattern  and the picture below shows several projects including Lilyanna Stitches' Snow", Buttermilk Basin's February candle mat and In Sew Many Words' "Silent Night".
And this is one of Lilyanna Stitches newest patterns.  I Love it!
There are lots of new samples, patterns, books and kits to choose from, as well as hot apple cider and goodies to nibble on while you browse.  Sure hope you get a chance to stop in!

November projects begun...

Here is a new wool project from "Lillyana Stitches"...  a quick one to make with just 2 colors of wool.  The finished project is about 15" square.
I finished "Silent Night".  The pattern is $8.50.  The specialty flosses make this one just glimmer with winter magic.
And 2 new stitcheries in one pattern from "Blueberry Backroads".  You can do them up in embroidery alone or add wool appliques.

These patchwork stockings were made using two different "Fig Tree Quilt" patterns.  I used 3 Sister's "Sentiments" fabric line.
And here are some of the beautiful new fabrics from Primitive Gatherings'
"Old Glory" fabric line from  Moda.

October news

The newest snowman from  "Sweet Meadow Farms".. He is so ADORABLE!  Every year there is a snowman that steals my heart...and this is the one!  Now I have to choose which one to keep.  I have named them "Larry, Curly and Moe"
New wools from MODA.  SO delicious!
A new pin cushion from Cotton Wood Creations.  I scented them with pumpkin spice oil.  The pattern is $5.00.  It can be made from wool or cotton.
One of the new parliament of owls created from Jennifer Jangles' Okey Dokey Owl pattern $10.00

This adorable sample was sewn by Carrie Strong from the "Curiosities and Mischief's" fabrics by Art to Heart.  Thanks, Carrie!

And here is a new pattern from "In Sew Many Words" that I have JUST begun working on.  LOVE the design and it has LOTS of sparkle for the upcoming holidays!

VINTAGE ROUGE is DONE!  And I am so pleased with the results!  Megan Best did an amazing job on the quilting!

The applique was done with the English Paper Piecing Method, but you can do the applique with whatever method you prefer.  I had never done English Paper Piecing before, and I really enjoyed it.  The instructions were very clear.

The complete kits are $180.00.  They do NOT include backing.

And here are some pictures of Shabby Fabrics brand new linens.  They are 58" to 60" wide and are $29.95  per yard.

I don't have a specific plan for them yet, but I do think some totes, aprons, pillows...   would be lovely!

And here are a few pictures of Sweet Meadow Farms "Ho Ho Ho and Let it Snow".

This is the new panel "Mischief" from Nancy Halvorsen.  The girl's line "Curiosities" should be arriving this week.  Bev Moore made this Growth chart for her great grandson.
And here is Northcott's Advent panel all sewn up.  I LOVE this panel.  Each stocking is numbered from 1 to 25 and is just waiting to be filled with
  Holiday Treats!

Lot's of fun new stuff.  Now I am working on a few more owls.  Never a dull moment!
